Volunteer to help the endangered gibbons Have you ever wanted to learn about conservation, help keep wildlife wild and experience the thrill of working with gibbons? Here are three ways you can volunteer with Gibbon Conservation Society (GCS): 1. Volunteer for the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project. Besides observing primate behaviour, you will assist animal keepers in preparing food, feeding, as well as daily cleaning and maintenance of cages. 2. Lend your muscles to the cause and help build enclosures for newly rescued gibbons. 3. Help GCS create more awareness of their cause and shed light on the plight of gibbons through their outreach events. Pre-requisites: You must be over 18 years of age and physically fit. You must commit to a minimum of one month. Accommodation can be arranged upon request, at a reasonable rate. No experience is required, but you must be willing to work in a team. A background science/biology is a plus. More details will be provided upon enquiry. Back to the story Are you a member?
